CONTEXT
To introduce Wallapop to the Italian market, we decided to connect with audiences through one of Italy's most iconic cultural elements: music. We chose Donatella Rettore’s legendary song “Splendido Splendente” and gave it a Wallapop twist by rewriting the lyrics to reflect the app’s core value—finding hidden treasures everywhere.
THE BRIEF
Our task was to launch Wallapop in Italy with a campaign that would resonate culturally and communicate the app’s ease of use and its potential to find valuable, second-hand items.
HOW DID WE GET THERE?
We created a lighthearted campaign following two roommates who playfully explore Wallapop and discover hidden gems in their own home. Each ad is set in a modern household and highlights different product categories. By adding hidden “Easter eggs” in each scene, we invited the audience to dive deeper into Wallapop’s world, sparking curiosity and engagement with the app.
